Leadership Team
As our programme is delivered by Government and through government systems, the focus of our work is to develop and provide the curriculum & systems for government to adopt, and the training and coaching support for government implementers.
We have a “central technical” team who provide the tools, systems and expertise for the programme. This team includes Content, Finance, Operations, M&E, HR, Advocacy. Fundraising. This team is geographically spread and provide services and expertise for the whole of the organisation. We also have in-country implementation teams who train and coach government implementers, and who are responsible for adapting the programme and systems for local contexts as well as for stakeholder, government and community engagement. Both central and implementation teams work together closely to co-develop organisational strategies, to manage risks and optimise the systems and content.
We have three field teams in Ghana in Tamale, Bolga and in Techiman. We also have a small partnerships /policy team based in Accra. The Ghana team has approximately 85 staff.
Our Uganda team is based in Jinja in the Eastern region. The team is led by a Country Director and supported by a small implementation team and support staff of under 10 staff.
