There are numerous other ways that businesses or individuals can help us with some of our costs. We have some suggested ways that you or someone you know – may be able to help.

children’s books We aim to promote literacy and to spark creativity by introducing children’s books to our communities. We are always on the look-out for suitable children’s books . We are happy to take second hand books. But please bear in mind that there are large cultural differences and therefore the books that are most appropriate for use in Africa are early readers.

printing Many of the materials in our Play Centres are colour printed. Can you help us offset these costs, for example by donating colour printers, toners, or allowing us to use printing facilities?

office and IT equipment Do you have any spare office equipment that you could donate to us. In particular, second hand laptops, printers, laminating machines, mobile telephones.

flights Do you know any individuals/businesses who may be willing to donate airmiles or help us offset the costs of transport?

professional skills and expertise Would you or your organisation be able to donate professional services – such as legal, accountancy, IT, marketing or other expertise?
