Ghana – 6 week volunteering programme
Help change lives whilst having the experience of a lifetime.
A unique opportunity to have an unforgettable and life-changing experience working with our beneficiaries and staff in Ghana. Immerse yourself in village life and spend 6 weeks in either Tamale (Northern Ghana) or Bolgatanga (Upper Eastern Ghana).
You’ll work alongside our experienced local staff to help set-up from scratch a community-run educational Play Centre and a Reading Scheme in deprived rural communities. You’ll be training mothers who’ve never been to school, helping them learn new ways to educate their children through play. And you’ll be training Primary School children to run weekly reading sessions for their younger peers.
A fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international development, challenge and enhance your communication skills working in the field with mothers, teachers and children. You’ll form close relationships with the communities and leave behind a lasting legacy.
